C*NET
The Collectors’ Net or C*NET is a global network of interconnected PBXs and switches.
PhoneNet is connected to C*NET with two-way direct calling from all PhoneNet hosted lines.
Receiving Calls
All PhoneNet office codes may be dialed directly from C*NET.
The primary PhoneNet office codes 791, 477, 226, and 266 are mapped as follows:
| PhoneNet Number | C*NET Number | Example |
|---|---|---|
| 226-XXXX | 61 2 472 XXXX | 61 2 472 9901 |
| 266-XXXX | 61 2 476 XXXX | 61 2 476 9901 |
| 477-XXXX | 61 2 477 XXXX | 61 2 477 9901 |
| 791-XXXX | 61 2 791 XXXX | 61 2 791 9901 |
All other PhoneNet office codes may be dialed as 61 2 470 XXX XXXX. Inbound calls will route via a PhoneNet tandem and passed onto your switch.
Dialing C*NET
All PhoneNet users with hosted lines or number blocks in 226, 266, 477, and 791 may directly dial C*NET.
C*NET NANPA is area code 400 on PhoneNet and may be dialed as 1-400-xxx-xxxx. For example, 1-400-867-5309.
C*NET International requires the prefix 101-400, eg: C*NET +44 1 647 0005 is 101 400 44 1 647 0005.
PhoneNet office code holders will need to establish their own connectivity to C*NET to place outbound calls.
If you have difficulties placing a call, contact the switchboard.
