Class of Service

All stations on PhoneNet are assigned a class of service that provides calling privileges required by their user profile.

When you join PhoneNet your initial class of service will be set at our discretion (generally level 2) with extra calling privileges granted once we get to know you.

Classes of Service

The various class of service levels on PhoneNet are:

Level FRL Maximum Priority Descrption
0 0 Routine Restricted service.
1 1 Priority Standard (PhoneNet office codes only)
2 2 Priority + Community Networks
3 3 Immediate + North America Toll Free and Australia 1800
4 4 Immediate + North America and Australia Landlines/Mobiles
5 4 Flash Same w/Flash
6 5 Flash + AU 13/1300
7 6 Flash + Emergency (000 / 911)
8 6 Flash Override + Emergency (000 / 9
9 6 Flash Override + Emergency (000 / 911)
10 7 Flash Override No restrictions.

Facility Restriction Levels

Facility Restriction Level (FRL) defines what call routes you get access to.

These are additive which means FRL 4 also includes FRLs 0-3.
